Dancehall Lifeline begins!
MC Feema is a dance instructor at Motivus gym Helsinki Finland, since 2015 he started his own workshops in Helsinki and has been doing dance workshops in different parts of Finland since 2015. Due to the fact that dancehall is not so well known in Finland and like always, i have been making a valuable input in helping to boost the scene whether musically or through dancing, and the aim is to make people realize the feeling and love dancehall brings and also to challenge yourself to reach higher levels and even become a motivator or a teacher yourself, so with these workshops we can create dance battles, camps and more workshops for all ages and to give dancers a chance to be recognized for their efforts like for example medals, trophies, certificates and other appreciative methods as the culture is rising to new levels each year.
These workshops will give people a close up encounter with the creators of the moves and vibes straight from Jamaica, not saying Finnish dancehall teachers are not valid but it is always better to boost your confidence with the right way of executing the moves and the feelings of the steps and grooves coming straight from the creators themselves
If your doing dancehall in Finland there is a need to support these dancers whenever they come here to show appreciation for their efforts also as they worked very hard to make it this far and they really do look out for your support also
Please bare in mind that doing dancehall for us in Jamaica is never only about money, it has always been about the feeling and the awesome creativity that comes with it, even though its cultural people still benefit in many different ways around the world but for us its deeper than what money could ever buy.
Dancehall dancing in finland is here to stay, even many years after there will always be dancehall dancing in europe and around the world so its a great feeling to contribute to it in a positive way in finland .
Dancehall Lifeline is a movement by itself and is not apart of a dance group or crew in Finland. Our main aim is to promote, teach, and help to build the dancehall scene in Finland. as you know dancehall is about fun and enjoyment just like we do it in the streets and in the parties we try to build the same vibes even though this is not Jamaica but we do create moments that makes you forget you are in Finland.
